Don’t let a single-point failure (the timer system) bring the Event to a stop! A Dual Timer System not only can save the day, but also saves money, time and frustration by eliminating reruns (at club expense) due to a single timer “Drop-out” or other mis-trigger causes. The system adds a redundant backup Timer set including, Main Timer console, Timer Eyes and Dual Eyes Tripod mount kit. The system utilizes your existing system case which has provisions for accommodating two systems. The second system requires-utilizes a different Eyes Frequency preventing interference between the systems. When ordering, provide the eyes frequency code (0 – 3) which is on a sticker inside the battery compartment of the transmitter eye (Eye with antenna). The setup is simple, The second Transmitter Eye is either placed on top of the first eye in a stacked arrangement, utilizing the provided kit, or use a second tripod. Operation of the dual system is identical to a single system. The times will be displayed & recorded on both Polaris Consoles. If either System Drops-out or is mis-triggered, the other system will still display the run time. The backup system will pay for itself from the saving of reruns and would likely pay for itself in one instance of a system failure using a single system!
